Imelda Papin could not help getting emotional while delivering her message to Claire dela Fuente in a video.

In the emotional video uploaded on her Facebook page, Imelda said she was really shocked about Claire’s death.
“Until now I'm really shocked dahil hindi ko akalain na iiwanan mo na kami,” Imelda said while in tears.
Claire passed away on March 30, 2021 after suffering from cardiac arrest.

Imelda likewise penned a emotional caption that reads:
“Nakakalungkot at sobrang sakit na malaman na isa na namang haligi sa industriya ng musikang Pilipino ang sumakabilang buhay.
Lalo na at isang tao na napakalapit, tunay at tapat kong kaibigan sa loob at labas ng showbiz.
Kailan lang, you were my guest during my 45th Showbiz Anniversary Concert at the Philippine Arena. Yon na pala ang last performance mo para sa aming lahat.
I will miss you Mare."

The OPM icon passed away after suffering from cardiac arrest, which, according to Gregorio de Guzman or Gigo, her son, was a result of too much stress and anxiety. He said that his mom was COVID-19 positive, and he is also positive for the same.
Eva Eugenio also took to social media to express grief over the passing of Claire. On her Facebook page, Eva enumerated her and Claire's usual bonding activities she said she would miss.
