Pia Wurtzbach gave an inspiring talk on how to deal with insecurities in a vlog by TV host Bianca Gonzalez. Bianca explained that as a way to celebrate Women's Month she has been letting her female audiences ask questions for her series "Paano Ba 'To".
The topic that Bianca chose from her audience was about how to better deal with being compared to others as well as one's insecurities.
"How can I be better in handling comparisons and my insecurities? Some days are okay, but some days sobrang nakaka-pressure at nakakababa ng self-esteem. Ayoko yung feeling ng inggit, but minsan it just hits me. Any advice for me? Paano ba 'to?"

Pia started by explaining that feeling those emotions are completely normal and revealed that she too had undergone being compared and feeling pressured due to her insecurities. The former Miss Universe also shared that she has been subject to many rejections before.
She also broached the subject of her loss at the 2014 Binibining Pilipinas. Pia had lost to MJ Lastimosa and the actress honestly shared that she cried backstage after losing.
“The second time I lost, MJ Lastimosa won, right? And then before she was announced the winner, I was standing right beside her and the camera kept panning left and right between us two. So of course, when you’re standing there, and the winner’s not announced yet, you’re thinking, ‘My gosh, isa sa amin.’ And then it ended up becoming her and then she had her crowning moment. I went backstage, I cried"
