Christine Dacera's family expressed their satisfaction regarding the outcome of the investigation by NBI

Christine Dacera passed away after celebrating New Year's eve with her co-workers at the City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati. Christine was found in a bathtub and was declared dead on arrival upon being taken to Makati Medical Center.

Police initially reported it as a rape-slay case due to bruises they allegedly found on the victim. However, autopsy showed that Christine died due to aortic aneurysm. Christine's family disputed the autopsy report and insisted that Christine had been raped and the men with her the night she died should be held accountable.

Just recently, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) filed criminal charges against Christine's companions at the Makati hotel. Christine's family seemed satisfied with the results of the investigation and expressed their appreciation as reported by ABS-CBN News.

Charges made by the NBI included obstruction of justice charges against Mark Rosales, Rommel Galido, John Dela Serna, Gregorio De Guzman, Jezreel Rapinan, Alain Chen, Reymay Englis, and Darwin Macalla who were with Christine during the New Year's Eve celebration as well as their legal counsel, Nepali Maroto.

The NBI also gained evidence to recommend charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide against Dela Serna, Rapinan, Chen, and Louie De Lima.

Christine Angelica Faba Dacera was born on April 13, 1997. She was a flight attendant for the Philippine Airlines subsidiary PAL Express. She passed away at the age of 23 on January 1, 2021.
