Vic Sotto reminded the public, especially AlDub fans, to respect Arjo Atayde and Maine Mendoza’s relationship.

The recent interview of Vic Sotto on DZRH revealed how he supports Arjo Atayde and Maine Mendoza’s relationship.
According to the actor and television host, the public should respect Arjo and Maine’s relationship. They should also respect Maine’s decision to love the Kapamilya actor.
“Yung personal na buhay niya, dapat respetuhin natin. Eh, talagang sila ay nagmamahalan. Kung mahal niya si Arjo, out na tayo dun, buhay nya ‘yun eh.”

He also shared how Maine Mendoza was taken good care of by Arjo Atayde during his appearance on “Daddy’s Gurl”, a comedy sitcom aired on GMA starred by Vic and Maine.
“Nakikita ko namang masaya siya at naaalagaan naman siyang mabuti, okay lang,” Vic explained.

However, not everyone is happy for Maine and Arjo. Vic was mainly addressing the fans who were not in favor of Maine and Arjo’s relationship.
Some avid AlDub (Alden Richards-Maine Mendoza) fans do not support Menggay’s relationship with the Kapamilya actor. They are against the real-life couple because they are afraid that there will be no more Alden-Maine loveteam.
It can be remembered that AlDub was once a phenomenal love team that started in the “Kalyeserye” segment of GMA-7’s noontime show “Eat Bulaga”. Soon, Alden and Maine were doing films and television series together.
However, the two Kapuso stars have recently pursued their solo careers.
For this reason, collective movements were raised on Twitter to boycott any of Maine and Alden’s upcoming solo roles.
Maine and Arjo began dating back in 2018. This happened right after the release of “Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles”, an action-comedy film starred by Coco Martin, Vic Sotto, and Maine Mendoza. Arjo was also part of the movie’s cast.
In December 2020, the celebrity couple celebrated their 2nd anniversary.

Recently, Vic expressed his faith in the COVID-19 vaccines. He coordinated with his son Mayor Vico Sotto to get vaccine shots.
Vic also trended days ago after a video of him showing affection to his youngest daughter went viral. In the video, Vic can be seen comforting Tali after she bumped her head.
