On March 4, the well-renowned actress celebrated her 52nd birthday. She took her birthday realizations and message on Instagram.
"[52] today. Blessed to see another day," Dawn began.
She recalled that her birthday last year was only a few days before the coronavirus changed life for everyone.
"A year ago today, I had no idea that in just a matter of days the world would turn itself inside out due to the COVID-19 pandemic,"

The “Walang Hanggan” star also shared her realization about the importance of life as many lost in the battle against COVID-19.
"I had a whole year to reflect deeper about how precious life is as we wept with those who lost their battles and stood strong with those who still fight.”
She also revealed that she was able to re-evaluate herself during the pandemic:
“In one year, I got to re-evaluate myself and my priorities. A full year of sifting and shaking so that I am only left with what matters most," she said.

Dawn also took the chance to thank all the people, online or personal, for supporting her along the way.
“I thank every one of you, who even through soc med, gave a kind word of support, encouragement, a word of peace and love. Thank you for helping me get through the year that was."
Recently, Dawn has been trending for dressing up as characters in different period dramas and Netflix shows. These included “Downton Abbey,” “The Crown,” “Bridgerton,” “The Queen’s Gambit,” and “The King’s Speech.”
