Lolit Solis slams Claudine Barretto’s interview conversing about Rico Yan

- Lolit Solis penned her frank thoughts on Rico Yan still getting associated with Claudine Barretto

Lolit Solis aired her frank commentary on Claudine Barretto’s recent interview where she opened up about her former boyfriend, Rico Yan, who died in 2002.

In a vlog of her best friend, Janelle Jamer, Claudine admitted to still having feelings for the late actor.

However, Manay Lolit disliked how Rico still gets associated with Claudine.

“Ewan ko Salve pero parang hindi ko maisip kung bakit hanggang ngayon kailangan pang isabit ang pangalan ni Rico Yan kay Claudine Barretto. Matagal ng panahon iyon naganap sa kanila, at kung meron memories na dapat itreasure mas maganda siguro na gawin ito in private.”

The entertainment columnist likewise took a swipe at the actress’ way of remembering her former boyfriend.

“I don't think the family of Rico Yan enjoy this kind of reminiscing about their son, parang opening of old wounds na sana ay dapat peklat na lang. Ok lang na sa puso ni Claudine nanduon parin si Rico, ipagdasal niya, recall the happy days, pero to keep talking about him, para bang icky di bah ? Parang rewind ng rewind, reset ng reset sa isang bagay na dapat kinalilimutan na. Prayers for his soul, pagdalaw sa sementeryo, Ok na gawin, pero iyon pag usapan pa at parang maging conversation piece, too much na. Let us pray for Rico Yan to rest in (peace), and give his family peace of mind. Love his memories, but just keep it in your heart.”

Among the male celebrities she identified as "jojowain” or “totropahin” are Carlo Aquino, Robin Padilla, Enrique Gil, and Joshua Garcia. She also expressed willingness to be Gerald Anderson’s “tropa” but when asked about the actor, she answered, “No comment".
