Liza Soberano went viral after tweeting that she did not like the poster of the movie “Tililing” for seemingly not treating mental illness seriously.
One of the movie’s lead actors, Baron Geisler, showed maturity and compassion in dealing with the controversy.

After Liza was bashed by some netizens for her criticism of the poster, Baron defended her and told netizens to be kind towards her.
He said that Liza meant well in criticizing the poster and that it is normal for people to sometimes become overprotective of their advocacies.
“Please don’t bash Liza. Please be kind. Sometimes we get overprotective with our advocacies.
“She did not mean to look down on our poster. I believe she meant well folks. Please be kind. Masakit ma-bash naranasan natin lahat yan one way or another,” Baron commented.

As for Liza, she thanked Baron for defending her and for understanding her position on this issue.
“Thank you kuya Baron for the kind words and sorry if I have offended anyone. I’m afraid my intentions were misinterpreted.
I always want the best for films that tap into mental health, so I wish this film all the best. Looking forward to seeing it,” Liza replied to Baron on Twitter.
