KAMI learned that the actor has chosen Cabuyao, Laguna as the location for his project.

In a Facebook post by City Information Office of Cabuyao, the actor presented his tech venture called “Trike Now.”

“Dumalaw ang sikat na actor na si John (Lloyd) Cruz kay Cabuyao City Mayor Aty. Rommel A. Gecolea upang ilatag ang kanyang bagong proyektong Tricycle Booking App na “Trike Now,” it posted along with pictures from John Lloyd’s presentation.

Present during his project presentation are Cabuyao City Mayor Rommel Gecolea, Laguna 1st District Representative Dan Fernandez and officials of Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association in Cabuyao.

John Lloyd Cruz is a popular Filipino actor. He withdrew from showbiz and lived with Ellen. However, they have already separated and they are now on a "co-parenting" scheme as they take turns in taking care of their son, Elias. He is currently on a showbiz hiatus.

According to showbiz reporter MJ Felipe, director Cathy Garcia Molina revealed that she was supposed to do John Lloyd's comeback film with Bea Alonzo but it has been delayed many times because of the present pandemic. Direk Cathy, who admitted to being highly physical on the set, also expressed wariness on shooting with the social distancing scheme.
