On Saturday, January 2, AC posted on Instagram a video clip showing her to be in a dance showdown with the character of Madelaine Petsch, Cheryl Blossom.

The Kapamilya dancer captioned it with:

“Here's my page 1/365 submission :) startin off the year right w a lil sneak peek to #Riverdale Season 5!”

The same teaser has also been shared on the social media of the series’ producer, Roberto Sacasa.

AC will be making history since this will be the first instance when a Filipino artist will be included in the American series’ cast. However, her character in the show is yet to be revealed.

Celebrities cheered AC on Instagram for her latest milestone, especially those who are friends with the young dancer.

The fifth season of “Riverdale” will start airing in the United States on January 20.

The series is based on the popular Archie Comics and was first aired in 2017. Its cast includes KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, and Cole Sprouse.

This is not the first time that AC will be seen in an international show. In 2013, she was also invited to be a guest in "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". Then, in 2020, she was noticed by Blackpink for her dance covers of their songs.

AC Bonifacio is a Filipino-Canadian singer, dancer, actress, and vlogger. She rose to fame when she won the dance competition show “Dance Kids” in 2016. She was the other half of the “Lucky Aces”, together with Lucky Ancheta.

A year ago, AC, together with Awra Briguela, and Riva Quenery, was bashed by Blackpink fans for making fun of the K-Pop group’s member Jennie. She also went viral when she had a dance showdown with Awra and Andrea Brillantes.
