Jennylyn Mercado has taken to social media to laud frontliners whom she called “true heroes” of year 2020.
KAMI learned that in a couple of tweets, the Kapuso star expressed her wish for the frontliners this new year.
The actress reiterated the sacrifices which frontliners made in 2020 and wished for frontliners to be given the priority they deserve in 2021.
“Their deaths could have been avoided if the people responsible made the right decisions. Sila ang tunay na mga bayani nitong 2020.
Huwag natin kalimutan ang sakrpisyo nila upang matulungan tayong lahat. Maraming maraming salamat Dr. Macasaet, Dra. Pulido, Dr. Jara, Dr Bactol.

Ang hiling ko lang ngayong 2021 ay sana maprotektahan ang ating mga frontliners lalo na ang mga healthworkers. Sana ay mas bigyan sila ng halaga ng mga taong may kapangyarihan. They deserve better.”
