1. Nightshift

The horror movie, Nightshift, was directed by the movie director, Yam Laranas, who is known for his other horror movies like Sigaw (2004) and Aurora (2018). The movie centers around a young woman named Jessie (played by Yam Concepcion) who has to work in the morgue on her first day as an assistant to a pathologist. Things, however, take a turn for the worse as the dead seems to be brought back to life.

2. Block Z

Mikhail Red, who stunned movie-watchers with his 2019 horror film, Eerie, has once again caught the attention of movie lovers with his latest zombie film, Block Z. The film initially became controversial as it stars ex-lovers Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia. The movie focuses on a group of students who are caught up together amid a deadly viral outbreak of infection in the country.

3. Love The Way U Lie

Starring Alex Gonzaga, Xian Lim, and Kylie Verzosa, Love The Way U Lie is a feel-good romantic comedy film directed by RC Delos Reyes. The film's story revolves around a lonely-in-love psychic whose path crosses that of a grieving husband who just recently lost his wife to a tragic accident.

4. U-Turn

U-Turn, which was directed by Derick Cabrido, is the Philippines' remake of the 2018 Indian film of the same name. The said remake stars Kim Chiu, JM De Guzman, and Tony Labrusca. In the movie, Kim plays the role of a young reporter whose ambition leads her to a string of horrible suicides with the clues pointing to that of a cursed u-turn slot.

5. Four Sisters Before The Wedding

Four Sisters Before The Wedding is the prequel to the classic Filipino film, Four Sisters And A Wedding. The prequel was directed by Mae Cruz Alviar and stars Carmina Villaroes and Dominic Ochoa together with Alexa Ilacad, Gillian Vicencio, Charlie Dizon, and Belle Mariano. The movie centers around the story of the sisters 10 years before the wedding of their brother.
