President Rodrigo Duterte was able to watch the video of the controversial shooting incident in Tarlac that took the lives of a 52-year old mother and her son.
KAMI learned that a photo where the chief executive was seen watching the said crime has gone viral in the online world.
It was shared by Senator Bong Go to Inquirer.net, and the said news website immediately uploaded it on Twitter.
Based on the photo, the President was able to see how Police Senior Master Sergeant Jonel Nuezca shot two unarmed civilians over an issue on firing an improvised cannon made of PVC pipes.
He was also able to see how Sonya Gregorio protected her son from the policeman who was trying to arrest him.
According to Senator Go, Duterte was really frustrated with what he saw in the video.
“Galit din si Pangulo sa nangyari,” he quipped.
Rodrigo Duterte is the incumbent President of the Republic of the Philippines. He won during the 2016 elections, receiving more than 16 million votes from Filipinos.
He recently approved the proposal to conduct a dry run of face-to-face classes this January amid the novel coronavirus pandemic. However, the said dry run will only be conducted in areas considered as low-risk for COVID-19.
The wife of April Boy Regino also thanked the President for giving money every month for singer’s medication. She expressed her gratitude through a Facebook post.
