On his Facebook account, the singer admitted to being “walang-wala” after his job as an artist got affected by the present pandemic and ABS-CBN shutdown.

He likewise penned about feeling sorry because of the said circumstance.

“Guys... walang wala na talaga... simut na simut. Next year na pag may trabaho na ako ha??? Sorry talaga...”

Netizens then expressed care towards Jed and even told him not to apologize.

“Makita lang naming safe and healthy ka, happy na po kami doon. Sabay-sabay tayong aangat ulit sa 2021, Manong Jed! I’m praying with you.”
“No need to apologize. You don't need to buy material things to show your love, especially this pandemic. Times are hard.”

Jed Madela is a Filipino singer, recording artist, songwriter and TV host. He became well-known for being the first Filipino to win the World Championships of Performing Arts title.

In an earlier report by KAMI, Jed posted on his Facebook account to express his worries amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The singer revealed that he is deeply concerned about not having a source of income due to the strict quarantine in the country.

It was also previously reported that Jed commented on not being invited to the ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID 2019 shoot. Though he got surprised about it, he added that it is just okay for him.
