Nikko Natividad explained in a post that he does not have a Tinder account and he almost lost his family after the identity theft incident.

Recently, the actor found out that he has an account on Tinder, a popular mobile dating app that allows users to meet and date. The account is even verified, so anyone would think that it really belongs to the TV host.

To clear his name, Nikko called out the person who used his name and photos in creating the said account. He posted a screenshot of the alleged account on social media.

He said that he does not own a Tinder account and joked that what he uses is only Grinder.

“Wala po akong tinder!! Muntik nakong palayasin ni @cielo_0227 sa bahay!! Sisira ka ng pamilya hinayupak ka!! Inuulit ko wala po akong TINDER!! GRINDER po ang gamit ko (emojis)”

His wife, Cielo, commented on his post on Instagram and joked that the Hashtags member’s things are already packed up and he can leave the house.


Cielo said in another comment:

“Teach you things you don’t know pala ha. Tignan natin galing mo mamaya paguwi mo (emoji)”

Many celebrities and netizens laughed at Nikko’s joke. Some of his Hashtags colleagues also joked around.

“Anong di ikaw yan? Kasama mo kami nung ginawa mo account mo ah” Hashtag Ryle commented.
“HAHAHAHA naku verified kapatid. Pano ba yan hahaha” said Hashtag Wilbert.
“WALANG TAKAS NIKKO! VERIFIED KA! HAHAHAHA (emoji)” wrote Hashtag Vitto.

On Twitter, several netizens commented on Nikko’s mention of another dating app. Some also advised him of reporting the incident.

“di k gumagait ng GRINDR kuya. Walang E yon. (emojis)” said one netizen.
“Grindr lol. Pero report it nikko, baka nagagamit pa yan sa scam or crime.” one comment went.

Nikko Natividad rose to popularity when he became the champion of “Gandang Lalaki” on “It’s Showtime”. Soon, he was already part of the mainstay of the noontime show, being a member of the Hashtags, an all-male group. In 2017, he became part of the “Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7”. Soon, he revealed that he is already a father.

Nikko was not the only Hashtags member who kept parenthood a secret for a while. It can be remembered that Bugoy Cariño and his partner, EJ Laure, surprised the public when they revealed their baby on the dancer’s birthday. The two revealed that they are not affected by the bashers anymore.

Two years ago, a controversy about two Hashtags members being removed for getting their partners pregnant went public. One of its members, McCoy de Leon was among those who reacted to the issue.
