Here's the full post of Jonamie Sebastian who happened to ride one of the most honest tricycle drivers out there.
In these trying times, being honest can be hard, especially if one has a family to feed. The act of manong driver certainly restores faith in humanity. There are still people out there, who, more than their own selfishness, their conscience and their goodness overcome every evil intention.
Filipino resilience is evident in times of crisis. Many have shown that they can make it through a pandemic. Filipinos abroad have also shown this kind of resiliency. This good driver clearly showed this trait. He still tried his best to ensure that he would have a teeny bit of income in order to survive the pandemic.
One very good example of Filipino resilience is how people looked for ways and means to live after they lost their jobs because of unexpected circumstances. For instance, a stewardess turned to online selling when she lost her job. She showed that there would always be a way to solve a problem.
