Janno Gibbs recently clapped back at a netizen who had an unsolicited comment about his hosting style on ‘”Happy Time”, a noontime variety show on Net25.
In one of the singer’s Instagram posts, one basher instructed Janno to stop being “pasosyal” when hosting.
The rude netizen likewise accused him of being an elitist.
“JANNO PASOSYAL KA PA AT PAINGLES INGLES SA HAPPY TIME.... OVERPRONUNCIATION KA PA.. MASASYADONG O.A MAGSALITA SA HAPPY TIME.. PANG MASA ANG SHOW NA YUN DI YUN PANG ELITISTA.... YOU OVERPRONOUNCE THOSE ENGLISH WORDS... IDIOT.. THAT SHOW IS FOR THE MASSES NOT FOR THE ELITES... ..WE FIND YOU SO ANNOYING,” the basher said.
This then prompted Janno to reply, "You watch it! And your english seems good. I dont overpronounce it. My surname is Gibbs after all. When you say 'We find you annoying' who's We?"
He likewise hit back at the basher’s claim that he is an elitist.
“Ikaw ang Elitista, minamaliit mo ang audience ng Happy Time,” the singer and television host added.
Janno Gibbs is a Filipino actor, singer-songwriter, and comedian, who starred in the Kapuso comedy series "Ober Da Bakod." He is the son of acclaimed actor Ronaldo Valdez and the husband of veteran actress Bing Loyzaga. The married couple has two daughters – Alyssa and Gabby.
