Through Instagram, Robin uploaded a teaser of a documentary film entitled “Memoirs of a Rebel” to commemorate the birth of Andres Bonifacio.

The actor stated in the caption that he is happy with the films that made it to the final cut for the MMFF 2020. However, he threw a question to the screening committee of the said festival.

As he continued with his lengthy message, the award-winning celebrity said that not all people in the film industry are after the box-office earnings.

He also called the style of MMFF screening committee as “old normal” after it seemingly favored films that have high commercial value.

“We have lost our ways, my dear brothers and sisters in the screening committee. Show business is not all about your shows and your businesses. It is not always about your money, your profit and your awards… New normal na! Pati ang showing ng mga pelikula niyo sa MMFF pero ang style niyo old normal pa rin,” he stressed.
