Kim Chiu became emotional when she saw the trailer of her “Bawal Lumabas” web series.

The said upcoming series has the same title as her viral song, “Bawal Lumabas”. Both were inspired by the actress’ trending statement during ABS-CBN’s live streaming rally last May.

Kim’s statement went viral and it was used in memes, which were supposed to bash her. However, instead of pulling the Chinita Princess down, those became steppingstones for more upcoming blessings.

So, after watching the trailer of her new show, she could not help but shed tears. On Instagram, Kim posted a video of herself, with her personal makeup artist, showing her reaction.

She explained in her caption how she felt nostalgic while watching the trailer:

“flashback lahat! #BawalLumabas
“Eto kami ni ate @haidzfernandez kanina after mapanood ang trailer ng #BawalLumabasTheSeries thank you ate haidz sa video nato! (emoji) pati tuloy ikaw! (emoji) iyak tawa ang naramdamdam namin.
“nag flashback skin lahat simula nag start ang bawal lumabas. Maraming salamat po @montie08 and sa @dreamscapeph @iwanttfc @kreativden sa opportunity na ito. (emojis) One Mistake won’t define you as a person.”

Kim further shared her realizations from the experience:

“When you make a 'mistake', don't look back at it long. Take the reason of the thing into your mind and then look forward. 'Mistakes' are lessons of wisdom. The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power.”

She ended the message with a call-to-action for her supporters:

Rafael Rosell, Paulo Angeles, Trina Legaspi, Francine Diaz, and Kyle Echarri will join Kim in “Bawal Lumabas: The Series”. The show is under Benedict Mique’s direction.
