The partner of Jamir Garcia disclosed to the public that the famous “Slapshock” vocalist was able to record new songs before he passed away.
KAMI learned that the 42-year-old singer was found dead inside his home in Quezon City in the morning of November 26.
His death immediately melted the hearts of those who have supported his band’s greatest hits such as “Langit,” “Cariño Brutal,” “Agent Orange,” and “Salamin".
On December 1, ABS-CBN News reported through its websites one of the wishes of Sojina Jaya Crisostomo, the current partner of Jamir.
It was stated that the woman prays for the release of her partner’s latest songs that he recorded amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
“Kung ako lang ang masusunod, dapat ma-release na yun kasi pinaghirapan niya yun nung lockdown. Ipapaubaya ko na lang yung desisyon sa dalawang naiwang band members,” she quipped.

Jamir Garcia, or Vladimir Salenga Garcia in real life, was one of the most acclaimed rock stars in the Philippines. His band called “Slapshock” was formed during the University of the Philippines Fair in 1997.
His partner recently aired a message regarding the sudden death of the Filipino singer. She assured him of her love until eternity.
Kean Cipriano of “Callalily” also mourns the passing of his good friend Jamir. He recollected the pieces of advice that he received from his fellow frontman.
