Metro Manila Film Festival is an annual competition of original Pinoy movies. It was supposed to hold its first summer edition this year but it was halted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

A few months ago, it was announced that Vice Ganda’s “Praybeyt Benjamin 3” was among the first 4 official entries in this year’s competition.

During the 2019 edition of MMFF, the film of Aga Muhlach entitled “Miracle in Cell No. 7” outshone the film of Vice in terms of box-office earnings.
