“Badjao Girl”, who became talk of the town years ago, once again caught the attention of public because of her recent TV appearance.

The viral girl, born as Rita Gaviola, recently became one of the guests of Eat Bulaga’s hit segment “Bawal Judgmental” along with other personalities who also made rounds on social media years ago.

During her guesting, she shared that she is currently prioritizing education.

"Sa ngayon po dahil bata pa ako, siguro mas magfo-focus po ako sa pag-aaral kasi mas maganda kapag nakatapos ka ng pag-aaral."

"Kahit hindi po ako nakilala o nag-viral, itutuloy ko pa rin po 'yung pag-aaral kasi unang una mas maganda kapag nakatapos ka. Mas maganda kapag 'yung diploma hawak-hawak mo hanggang sa pagtanda mo.”

She likewise aired her inspiring message to her fellow Badjaos.

"Ang masasabi ko lang po sa kanila, huwag po kayong tumigil na mangarap dahil po ang pangarap ay libre, hindi po 'yan binibili. Sa amin po maraming maagang nag-aasawa. Siyempre ako, gusto ko maging magandang halimbawa sa kanila. Hindi porke't Badjao tayo kailangan nating maliitin 'yung ating pagkatao. Lalo nating iangat kung saan tayo nagmula at maging proud tayo.”
