Isabela governor says ABS-CBN should have sent news team to cover disaster

- The governor of Isabela stated that ABS-CBN should have sent its news team to cover the disaster in their area

Gov. Rodolfo Albano III of Isabela had an interview over ANC and he told the news anchor that ABS-CBN should have sent a news team to cover the onslaught of the typhoon in their area.

The anchor of #ANCMattersOfFact, Christian Esguerra, reminded him that the franchise of ABS-CBN was killed by Congress.

Because there was no franchise, regional networks were also shut down. Among those shut down were the Isabela and Tuguegarao stations.

The governor answered with a laugh.

It must be noted that the vice-chairman of the legislative committee that killed the franchise of the TV network was his brother Rep. Antonio Albano.

The devastation can be seen in various footage. Social media became a rescue hotline. One resident in Quezon City sought the help of rescue teams after being stranded due to the typhoon.
