- The hashtag #CagayanNeedsHelp trended after waters rushed so suddenly and high that it rendered the area become like Pacific Ocean

- Some of the celebrities who appealed to the public for Cagayan were Angel Locsin, Robi Domingo, Bianca Gonzalez, and Richard Juan

Many celebrities took to social media and used their voices to appeal for help for the victims of Ulysses who were stranded in Cagayan Valley.

The celebs used their voices and influence so that the call for help could reach more people and those who were trapped could be rescued.

The wrath of Typhoon Ulysses was unexpected. Although Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon were already bracing themselves for what Ulysses could bring, its onslaught became a nightmare for everyone. The Mayor of Marikina was among those praised by netizens for his hands-on approach in the rescue efforts.

With the strength of the typhoon, it is very much likely that things that are inside the house could either be swept away or end up submerged in water. Many netizens shared the situation of their homes when the typhoon hit and virtually all of their appliances and furniture were damaged by the floodwaters. When the water subsided, the floodwaters left a lot of mud.
