Robredo coordinates with AFP, Marines, answers pleas for rescue from Cagayan residents

- Vice President Leni Robredo coordinated with the Armed Forces of the Philippines to reach trapped and frightened residents of Cagayan

- She made sure that the residents were also updated with the responses of the AFP and the Marines through her tweets

- The Vice President said that the marines and the AFP were unable to cross as the water reaches up to the neck but the Air Force already deployed rescue units

- One of her latest tweets was an update from the rescue group and they said that the rubber boats needed to be carried on to the truck to reach different areas

Vice President Leni Robredo coordinated with the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the marines, in order to rescue stranded residents in Cagayan.

The residents took to social media to send their cries and appeal for help and rescue.
