Michele Gumabao earned heaps of praises from the online community after she posted photos of how she was helping the policemen in Marikina in feeding the displaced residents.
They fed those from Provident Village, one of the hardest-hit areas during the onslaught of Typhoon Ulysses.
In her post, she mentioned how they were able to provide around 5,000 meals in Marikina. She was also seen working with authorities from morning till night.
Many netizens then commented on her post and praised her for her generous and selfless act in helping the victims of the typhoon.
"More than 5000 meals were provided today by our PNP not only for victims of the typhoon but also for all the frontliners who are braving the floods to rescue stranded residents! I salute our PNP,Army,Navy,Coastguard and all other Gov and NGO who are at the front lines of service! More than doing their jobs, they are also risking their lives and their health"
Michele Gumabao was the representative of Quezon City at the Miss Universe Philippines 2020. She previously admitted that she left the viewing party of Miss Universe Philippines because she could not stand being asked about the results over and over again. After all, she explained that the results were already known, which was why she did not attend the said event anymore.
The one who won the competition was Rabiya Mateo. She is an Iloilo beauty. She answered the question regarding the kind of paper currency and who should be in that currency. Her answer greatly appeared as the best one. She said that if there was someone who deserves to be on paper currency, it would be the late Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago.
