- SM Entertainment responded with a very short statement and said that it does not have an official statement regarding the said post

Chanyeol, a 27-year-old member of EXO, was recently embroiled in a controversy after a post was made online.

The one who made the post claimed that she was Chanyeol's ex-girlfriend and that they have been together for three years.

She also accused the star of cheating on her with 10 other people while they were still together.

Although the post has already been deleted, SM Entertainment issued a very short statement on the matter.

Soompi reported that SM said, "We have no official statement regarding the post."

AllKPop reported though that a subsequent post was made by an alleged friend of Chanyeol and the supposed ex-girlfriend. This time, he clarified that the one who made the controversial post was not an ex-girlfriend but an acquaintance who was not able to borrow money from Chanyeol.

A Twitter user, @zygmaund posted the official statement of SM Entertainment.
