Angel Locsin took to social media to express gratitude to Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla for reacting against Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade Jr. red-tagging prominent female personalities.
On his Facebook page, Remulla slammed the military official and expressed concern over the Armed Forces of the Philippines “red-tagging” operations.

Locsin then mentioned the Cavite province chief in one of her Instagram posts and thanked him.
“Thank you Gov. Remulla for giving him a dose of his own medicine,” she said.
Remulla then responded, “You are most welcome, Madam.”
“Idol,” the actress also replied.
Angel Locsin, known in real life as Angelica Locsin Colmenares, is a Filipina actress and endorser. She is currently in a relationship with Neil Arce.
Angel’s sister Ella Colmenares, who was red-tagged by a high-ranking military official, recently defended herself. She spoke up after Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade Jr. released a statement claiming that she is a member of a leftist group.
Her uncle, Bayan Muna Chairperson Neri Colmenares has taken to social media to speak up regarding Parlade tagging him as well. Colmenares dared the military official to file charges against him if he thinks that the human rights lawyer and activist is a member of NPA.
