Angel Locsin takes a swipe at red-tagging of sister Ella Colmenares by Gen. Parlade

- She then took a swipe at the red-tagging of her sister Ella Colmenares who was mentioned by a military general
- The actress then said, "underground daw," referring to the tagging of a military general of her sister, alluding that Ella was a supposed NPA sympathizer

Angel Locsin took a swipe at the statement of Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade, Jr., red-tagging actress Liza Soberano and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
In what was perceived as a threat, as published in various news outlets, Parlade also mentioned the sister of Angel Locsin, Ella Colmenares, and said that she went 'underground' in Quezon.
His statement was:
"The choice is yours Liza. And so with you Catriona. Don’t follow the path Ka Ella Colmenares (Locsin) took in the underground and NPA Quezon. I am sure Angel Locsin and Neri Colmenares will not tell you this."
In response, Angel posted a family photo with a caption, "With our controversial sister na nasa underground daw sa Quezon."

Angel Locsin addressed a statement to Lt. Gen. Parlade that she is not a part of the NPA or of any terrorist group. She also completely denied that her sister Ella, and also her uncle Neri, are members of NPA.
Neri Colmenares also challenged Parlade to file a case against him if he believes that Bayan Muna chairperson is an NPA member.
Angel Locsin was among those who was bashed by 'Banatby' in his vlogs. When the vlogger contracted COVID-19, Angel even asked her followers not to wish ill of him.
