Arnold Clavio slams some lawmakers; called them ‘balimbing’ over House speakership issue

- Newscaster Arnold Clavio did not hold back in sharing his honest opinion regarding the House speakership issue

- According to Clavio, there are a lot of “balimbing” or turncoats at the Batasang Pambansa as they handled the conflict between Rep. Alan Cayetano and Rep. Lord Velasco

Kapuso news anchor Arnold Clavio got brutally honest over the House speakership issue earlier between Marinduque Rep. Lord Velasco and Taguig-Pateros Rep. Alan Cayetano.

KAMI learned that Clavio referred to some lawmakers as “balimbing” over the issue.

In an Instagram post, the news reporter warned the public because there is a lot of “balimbing” or turncoats at the Batasang Pambansa recently.

“Mga iGan!!! Mag-ingat. Maging ALISTO!!!” he wrote.

“Bumabaha ngayon sa Batasan Pambansa ng mga balimbing!!!” Clavio added.

In an earlier post, Clavio wished Cayetano and Velasco good luck.

“Good luck! May the best man accepts the result,” Clavio said.

“hahaha Asa pa ako... #nadenggoy #speaker,” he continued.

On Tuesday, Lord Velasco officially became the new House Speaker after 186 lawmakers ratified the election of the lawmaker in an informal session at the Celebrity Sports Plaza on Monday.

Meanwhile, Vice Ganda also aired his opinion regarding the House speakership issue and compared it to the Miss Universe pageant that happened in 2015.
