Charo Santos recently expressed her happiness on the return of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” on free television.
KAMI learned that the longest running drama anthology program is among the Kapamilya shows that will air on A2Z Channel 11 as the result of ABS-CBN’s blocktime agreement with the Zoe Broadcasting Network.
In the online talk show “We Rise Together”, Charo aired her excitement over new stories that will be featured on the show.
The actress and television host admitted to missing “MMK” supporters who are patiently waiting for the show’s comeback on free TV.
"Na-miss ko rin at na-miss ko 'yung loyal Kapamilya natin na sumusubaybay, nanonood ng 'MMK,” she said.
“Natutuwa nga ako sa mga message na natatagpuan ko since the announcement that some of the ABS-CBN programs will be back on the air. So nakakatuwa.”
ABS-CBN is one of the biggest media companies in the Philippines. However, it was shut down months ago after its franchise renewal was rejected in Congress.
ABS-CBN recently confirmed its partnership with Zoe Broadcasting Network Inc. Some of the Kapamilya shows will be aired on the newly rebranded channel—A2Z Channel 11.
The media giant also released a list of shows that are coming to the new channel this October. Some of the shows are 'It’s Showtime', 'Magandang Buhay,' 'FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano', and 'Maalaala Mo Kaya'.
