Anne Curtis turns emotional over return of “It’s Showtime” on free TV

Anne Curtis recently went emotional over the comeback of “It’s Showtime” on free television.

The noontime variety program has premiered on A2Z Channel 11 on Saturday, October 10 as the result of ABS-CBN’s blocktime agreement with the Zoe Broadcasting Network.

The actress, who is still in Australia where she welcomed her adorable daughter Dahlia Amélie, then was able to join her “It’s Showtime” family’s debut on the said channel via video conference.

"How are you? We miss you," Vice Ganda told her.

"I'm so happy to see you, guys,” she replied.

Anne then got teary-eyed while expressing her happiness over the show’s return on free TV.

“Grabe, nakakaiyak 'yung opening to see you so happy about what’s happening and I'm so happy for ABS-CBN family and 'Showtime' family," Anne.

"Alam mo kung bakit ako naiiyak? Kasi hindi ako nakasama sa kanta," she said referring to the opening number performed by her co-hosts.

"Kailan ka bababalik dito? Samahan mo na kami ulit," Vice Ganda asked.

"Malapit na malapit na rin yan and I'm so excited. Siyempre I want all of you guys to finally meet Dahlia. And I miss you all so so much. I'm so happy for you, guys,” Anne responded.

"Nakaka-miss talaga at ang saya ng nararamdaman namin dito sa studio. Dito sa Pilipinas ang saya namin. Nagse-celebrate talaga kami ngayon. Pero alam naman nating lahat na mas masaya ito kung kasama ka namin,” Vice Ganda added.

“I can’t wait to come back and be reunited with all of you and to make our ‘madlang people' happy,” said Anne. “To the all the madlang people, eto na nga. 'Showtime' is back on free TV to continue what we're always dedicated to do and that is to make you happy. Para pasayahin po kayo madlang people. Here we are again bringing sunshine into your lives again.”
