Maxene Magalona recently took a trip down memory lane and recollected the happy moments she shared with father Francis Magalona who marked his 56th birth anniversary on October 4.
In an Instagram post, the actress shared that one of her favorite memories with his dad would have to be when he would pick up her from school.
“I have a lot of beautiful and wonderful memories with my Dad. But I guess one of my favorites would have to be when he would pick up from school, in college in Katipunan, and we would ride home together all the way to Antipolo.”

Maxene said she really cherished those moments for those were the times when the Master Rapper would ask her updates on her life.
“You know he really took time to get to know us; to really ask us how we were. It was also in those car rides home when he would give me advice —advice that I really keep in my heart forever. We would listen to music together, some of his favorite songs or sometimes he would just suddenly start rapping out of nowhere!”
“You know it was really those fun, candid moments that I really love and miss the most. He was just himself —no cameras, no microphones, no nothing. It was just our quiet time together. I really miss him.”
“Happy birthday in heaven, Papa! I am who I am today because of you”
