Cristine Reyes opened up about her tough childhood and explained her attitude when she first started in the showbiz industry.
KAMI learned that Cristine said that as she was growing up, she missed a lot of things.
In an interview with Luchi Cruz-Valdez on Usapang Real Life, Cristine talked about the difficulties she had in the past as a child.
She explained that she wants to give her daughter, Amarah, everything that she did not have and experience when she was still a child.
So ngayon, gusto ko lumaki siya kabaliktaran kung paano ako lumaki,” she said.
“I was isolated, very isolated po. Wala akong kausap sa bahay. Wala akong napagsusumbungan. Wala akong nayayakap, nahahalikan or nasasabihang ‘I love you,’ ganyan -- kuya, ate, mommy, daddy, wala. So yon yung missing part po sa buhay ko,” she added.
Cristine also explained that her experiences as a child affected her attitude in showbiz.
Walang nagmahal. Walang nag-alaga sa akin. Ako lang nag-alaga sasarili ko. Lumaki ako sa ibang pamilya,” she continued.
