It has been reported that “Joker” actor Joaquin Phoenix, 45, welcomed his first child with his fiancée Rooney Mara.
KAMI learned that Russian filmmaker Victor Kossakovsky was the one who revealed the news about Phoenix and Mara.
In a report by Us Weekly (authored Riley Cardoza), Phoenix and Mara reportedly named their baby after the actor’s late brother, River Phoenix.
“He just got a baby, by the way, his name was … a beautiful son called River, so he cannot promote it now,” Kossakovsky said.
As reported by the Daily Mail UK (authored by Christine Rendon and Glenn Garner), the couple did not confirm the pregnancy, as well as the giving birth of Mara.
According to Metro UK (authored by Tilly Pearce), the couple confirmed their engagement in 2019, and they have been spending the quarantine period together.
Born on October 28, 1974, Joaquin Phoenix is an award-winning actor and producer. He recently portrayed the role of “Joker.” Phoenix started dating Mara since late 2016.
