Regine Velasquez recalled in her latest vlog a past incident when she could not be there for her son, Nate.

KAMI learned that Regine detailed that experience and shared her challenges as a mother.

In a YouTube vlog posted by Regine Velasquez, the Asia’s Songbird shared that when Nate was three years old, she had a concert and they decided to stay in a hotel.

While rehearsing for her concert, Regine said that she received a call from her husband, Ogie Alcasid, and he said that Nate was throwing up.

"He kept throwing up, so lahat nung kinain, iyong milk, lahat sinuka. I was so worried,” she said.

When the throwing up kept happening, Ogie decided to bring Nate to a hospital. Regine admitted that it was difficult for her because it was the first time that Nate was in a hospital without her.

"I wanted to be there because, you know, nai-imagine ko kapag nilagyan ng suwero, iiyak. Hindi ko maano. Medyo masakit for me that I wasn't there,” Regine said.

She also shared that during her concert, she couldn’t help but cry when she sang “If You Go Away.”

The second of the concert, she dedicated the show for the overseas Filipino workers (OFW) that work hard abroad and cannot take care of their children even if they want to.

The Asia’s Songbird recently shared that her husband Ogie did not look for her when she was stuck at their home elevator for about 30 minutes.
