Charles "Chuck" Feeney, an 89-year-old philanthropist has fulfilled his wish before he died, and that was to give away his $8 billion fortune or more than 380 billion pesos.

Inquirer 's Ryan Arcadio reported that Feeney was the co-founder and airport retailer of Duty-Free Shoppers.

A report by Ma. Angelica Garcia of GMA News Online revealed that he distributed his wealth to a number of charities.

He gave away $3.7 billion to education, $870 million more to human rights, and a whole lot more. Steven Bertoni wrote in Forbes that he did this through his foundation Atlantic Philanthropies.

Accordingly, after four decades of giving globally, he only had $2 million, which he set aside for his and also his wife's retirement.
