Michael V., who earlier got tested positive from COVID-19 himself, aired his faith that the country can beat the current pandemic.

In an interview of GMA Regional TV with the comedian, Bitoy shared some of his realizations while he was battling with the viral disease.

He has learned that to beat this pandemic, people need to be fit not just physically but also mentally and spiritually.

"Kagaya ng natutunan ko, isa sa mga paraan para matalo itong pandemya is not just to be fit physically kundi mentally din and spiritually," he held.

"Hindi naman porke mayroong pandemya, kailangan nang malungkot.”

The Kapuso star believes that Filipinos are innate fighters and the nation can combat this health crisis if people are united.

"Tayong mga Pilipino, talagang fighters tayo. Kung magtutulong-tulong tayong lahat at kung sama-sama nating gagawin 'yung mga dapat nating gawin para matalo itong mga problema na ito. I'm pretty sure, sandali lang 'yan, maa-achieve na natin 'yung goal natin na 'yun."

Earlier, Michael V. confirmed that he tested positive for COVID-19. He was also rushed to the hospital after he experienced another symptom.
