Kakai Bautista confirmed on her social media post that she tested positive for coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
KAMI learned that Kakai has already recovered from the coronavirus.
In an Instagram post, the actress-comedienne revealed that she already “graduated” from the disease. She said that on the 14th day of her quarantine period, she already tested negative.
“Today, on my 14th day.. I graduated from COVID University!!!!” Kakai said.
“Yes, I was tested positive for COVID-19, asymptomatic, and got another test today and the result was negative. THANK YOU, LORD,” she added.
Kakai explained that she is sharing her experiences with the public in order to spread awareness about COVID-19.
“COVID is not a joke. Oo, sakit siya, virus siya, pero mas parang ikakamatay mo ang fear and anxiety ‘pag nagkaroon ka. But when I learned that I have it, 2 bagay lang ang sinabi ko kay Lord: ‘Lord, hindi pa ako pwedeng mamatay kase mababawasan ng maganda ang mundo and ‘Lord, I surrender everything to you,” she said.
Kakai Bautista is an actress and comedienne in the Philippines. She is known for her films like #Jowable and Hello, Love, Goodbye.
Earlier, Lovely Abella, who worked with Kakai in Hello, Love, Goodbye, confirmed that she tested positive for COVID-19. Luckily, she was able to recover from the disease.
