Andi Eigenmann finally addressed the ongoing issue that until now she still hadn't apologized to her ex-boyfriend Albie Casiño.

In 2011, Andi and Albie were together and initially, the former said that the latter was the father of her eldest daughter Ellie.

However, through a DNA test, it was revealed that the father of Ellie was Jake Ejercito. It was believed by many that the paternity issue of Albie ruined his showbiz career.

KAMI learned that Andi finally made a statement about the issue and her honest reaction immediately went viral online.

It can be recalled that Albie recently answered a netizen's question if Andi already apologized to him and his answer was, "Hindi pa."

Shortly after this, a netizen made a post about the issue and was even brave enough to tag Andi.

"Ms. @andieigengirl baka naman gusto mo na po mag sorry kay Albie pagkatapos ng ginawa nyo po sakanya nuonkahit na matagal na iyon deserve nya parin naman po makatanggap ng public apology or kahit personal man lang.. People hated Albie ( @thestallion09 ) to death, at kamuntikan ng masira ang buhay at career nya dahil sayo,maraming nawalang project sakanya,halos nasa peak sya ng career nya loveteam with Kath pero nawala lahat ng iyon nasira dahil sa false accusation...

"Dahil duon kinaylangan nya na naman ulit magsimula ulit mula umpisa..Pero kung iisipan napakabait ni Albie dahil pagkatapos ng ginawa nyo sakanya, di nya parin nagawang sampahan kayo ng kaso.. kahit yata halos patayin na sya sa bugbog nuong mga araw na yun tama ba ko?"

According to Andi, she does not owe anyone an explanation and she already apologized to Albie in private despite his claim.

"Not that i owe you any sort of explanation, but since you’re the only one that has tagged me in this, i actually already have. (You can ask him that too.) you and the rest of the public are not aware, because i never owed you that apology. I owed that to him.

"You see, It’s one thing not to have given forgiveness. That’s something i can’t control. but it’s also another thing to say otherwise."

She also emphasized that she's already a changed person and has learned a lot from her past struggles.

"I think the fact that Ive been blessed to have such a wonderful life after everything is enough proof that I’ve grown to become far different from the person i once was. My past struggles have taught me that we can never really please everybody. That no matter what,there will always be people like you who will be quick to judge others w/o knowing their story.

The actress also brought up the alleged physical abuse she suffered from Albie when they were together.

"There will always be those who will see only what they want to, and hear only what they want to. (Did any of you even remember that the root of this controversy was because i was physically abused? Right. I dont think so. But you know what? im ok with it.)

"This is exactly why I found my happiness living away from the limelight, and all the constant judgment from people you don’t even know. People who’s opinions should never have mattered. But did. It still did. Because I was only human. Through all this ive learned that kindness is key no matter what. And that has definitely done me so much good. You obviously dont know me, so you probably wouldn’t know. Nevertheless I want you to try that too. I know times have been tough on all of us lately. But it always, always pays to be kind."
