Hollywood star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has confirmed that he tested positive for coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
KAMI learned that aside from Dwayne, his wife, his 2-year-old and 4-year-old baby daughters have been infected by the coronavirus as well.
In a video posted on Instagram, Dwayne revealed that he has been battling against COVID-19 for the past two to three weeks now.
“So the update is this: my wife Lauren as well as my two baby girls and myself, we have all tested positive for COVID-19,” he said.
The Hollywood star admitted that it has been difficult and the most challenging for him and his family.
"I wish it was only me who tested positive, but it wasn't, it was my entire family, so this one was a real kick in the gut,” Dwayne said.
However, the Johnson family was able to recover. The Hollywood star said that they are no longer contagious and that they are now healthy.
“We've gotten through COVID-19 stronger and healthier,” he said.
Dwayne Douglas Johnson or “The Rock” is an actor, producer, and a former professional wrestler for the WWE. He is known for his films like Tooth Fairy, Fast Five, San Andreas, and Moana.
Earlier, The Rock sang for a 3-year-old boy who has a severe illness and loves his character “Maui” in Moana.
In an earlier report by KAMI, Hollywood actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson tested positive for coronavirus as well. Fortunately, they were able to recover.
