Where do broken hearts go?
For actress Angelica Panganiban, part of moving on is making an appearance on TV program “Gandang Gabi Vice” hosted by Vice Ganda on Sunday, May 22, in which she finally opened up on her breakup with John Lloyd Cruz.
Although Angelica admitted on the show that she still feels sad about her failed relationship with the heartthrob, she also said she now feels better.
“Nowadays, I’m kinda super okay,” said Angelica.
But does this mean she already moved on?
“Mga four hours na akong ‘di umiiyak (I haven’t cried in four hours),” she said.
When Vice noticed that Angelica was wearing a key pendant, she said: “Ni-lock ko na yung puso ko (I have locked my heart).”
“Minsan kasi, e… sikat, ‘di ba? Ang daming billboard, kapag nakita ko, maiiyak na naman ako ganun (Sometimes… He’s famous, right? He has so many billboards, and when I see those, I just cry)," said Angelica.
“Paglabas ko, makakakita na naman ako ng billboard. Ayan na naman tayo. Magmu-move on na naman ako (And then when I get out, I’ll see billboards again. There we go again. I’ll have to move on again),” she added.
Because of this, Angelica said that she would prefer not to date someone from showbiz again.
She joked that it’s a lesson learned for her that the guy she will date should not be famous.
“Kung gusto mo ng artista, yung laos o yung wala nang direksyon (If you still want to go out with somebody from showbiz, he should be a has-been or somebody with no directon),” she said in jest.
But despite what happened, Angelica said that she is not bitter about it. She revealed that she and John Lloyd are still friends.
They even text each other sometimes, she added.
“Kasi hindi n’yo na na-save ang relationship n’yo as a couple, why not i-save n’yo ang relationship n’yo bilang magkaibigan? (Since you were not able to save your relationship as a couple, why not save your friendship?)” suggested Angelica.
