A house in Porac, Pampanga was barricaded with GI sheets reportedly because a member of their family tested positive for COVID-19.
The whole frontage of the house was covered. The gate had GI sheets, as well as the fence.
According to the caption of the post, it was the barangay that authorized such move.
The whole family felt discriminated upon. Many netizens also gave their comments on the incident.
A number of netizens also stated that they viewed it as an act of discrimination. One OFW revealed that they had a companion who tested positive and what their companion did was to isolate in the bedroom.
"Ofw kmi d2 saudi, may nagpositibo saamin 8 , ang gnawa nag quarantine cla sa mga kwarto nla habang gnagamot nla sarili nla for 15days hinahatidan namin cla ng mga kailangan nla at pagkain nla kc tao din cla di nla sinadya ung nangyari. Ngayon almost 15days na din clang covid free alhamdulillah sana ganoon din gawin ng kapit bahay nla jan."
