Vice Ganda did not only express hope during the episode of It's Showtime, but he said it so strongly that it sounded like a beacon to all fans of the network.
One of the contestants in 'Tawag ng Tanghalan', Alexis Ramirez, recounted how she was jailed and made to suffer for something that she did not do.
She narrated how other inmates asked for a TV PLUS because it's the one "bumubuhay sa amin," as they said it.
After four years, Alexis was able to regain her freedom.
Taking a cue from Alexis' experience, Vice compared it to what the network is going through.
He also said that more than the lost jobs are the smiles that died along with the closure of the network.
Vice Ganda aired his sentiments over the bashing that Kim Chiu and Coco Martin received after they expressed their opinion on the shutdown of ABS-CBN.
Another celeb, Sharon Cuneta, cried buckets of tears as she talked about the shutdown of ABS-CBN during her IG live.
