Senator Bong Revilla Jr. has uploaded a new video on Facebook to share an update about his battle with COVID-19.
KAMI learned that Revilla said that he has not yet fully recovered from the said virus but is slowly getting better.
The emotional video was posted after he was discharged from St. Luke’s Medical Center.
According to Revilla, his COVID-19 illness and pneumonia were severe enough to make him think that he was going to die. What made his experience more difficult is the isolation from his family members.
He also urged everyone to be extra careful in not getting and spreading the virus because the symptoms can be severe for some people which is what he experienced.
The senator also addressed his bashers online who expressed their wish that he would not fully recover from the illness. Those bashers are angry at Revilla due to the allegation that he stole millions as a politician years ago.
Revilla said that he has already forgiven his bashers because he knows that he has more supporters than detractors.

“Yung ibang tao, imbis na i-wish gumaling ka, wini-wish pang mamatay ka.
“Ganun pa man, sa akin, pinapatawad ko sila. Hindi nila alam yung ginagawa nila.
“Mahal ko pa rin kayo kahit wi-nish niyo yung ganun dahil alam ko naman mas maraming tao ang nagdadasal para sa aking mabilis na paggaling,” Revilla said in the video.

Bong Revilla is one of the incumbent Senators in the Philippines. His wife is Bacoor Mayor Lani Mercado and their son is Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla.
