Kobe Bryant would have turned 42 on August 23 if he did not figure in the tragic helicopter crash that killed him, his daughter Gigi, and 7 others on January 26.
KAMI learned that his wife, Vanessa Bryant, took to social media to send a message to her late husband on what would have been his 42nd birthday.
According to Vanessa, she misses Kobe and Gigi very much and wishes that they could celebrate the birthday together.
She also painfully admitted that her life feels empty without her husband and daughter but she has to put on a happy face for the sake of their other children.
Vanessa also revealed that she gets mad thinking that she did not die first so that she would have been spared the pain of losing her husband and child.

Kobe Bryant is considered the greatest Los Angeles Lakers player of all time and one of the greatest basketball players in history. He won five NBA Championships, two NBA Finals MVPs, and one NBA Regular Season MVP.
He died on January 26 this year due to a helicopter crash. Many Filipino celebrities got emotional after learning about the tragic news. Kobe is extremely famous in the Philippines since many Filipinos are basketball fans and the NBA star visited the country a few times already.
Several artists in Taguig City also paid tribute to the basketball superstar by painting an entire court with Kobe’s image. Kobe Bryant might be gone but his legacy remains and is still loved by his countless fans and most of all, his loving wife and children.
