Diego Loyzaga reacts to former love team Sofia Andres’ motherhood

- Diego Loyzaga recently got honest about his former on-screen partner Sofia Andres who announced her motherhood a couple of months ago

Diego Loyzaga recently expressed happiness for former on-screen partner Sofia Andres who announced about her motherhood a couple of months ago.

In an online media conference to welcome him as the newest member of the Viva Artists Agency, the actor was asked about Sofia who is now a mother to a lovely baby girl, Zoe Natalia Miranda.

“I am really happy for Sofia. I see in her posts that she’s happy. Someone’s well-being, their mental health, it’s important and nakikita ko sa napo-post ng family ni Sofia at siya mismo na she’s happy. So I couldn’t wish her anything more in the world but that.”

He was also asked if he has greeted the actress for the new chapter in her life but Diego responded that wants to do it personally.

“Pero sinabi ko sa sarili ko when the day comes na I bump into her or I see her, I think definitely (mag-uusap kami). Pero for me to message, ayaw ko lang kasi baka a different message is received from the other people, from their part. Siyempre walang masamang tinapay for me, pero ayaw ko lang makabastos in any way. But of course I really do wish her the best and I’m happy that she’s happy.”

Diego Loyzaga is a well-known showbiz personality in the Philippines. He already starred in several movies such as “Bloody Crayons” and “Mama's Girl.” He and Sofia last worked together in ABS-CBN's drama series "Pusong Ligaw" in 2017.

The handsome actor reportedly suffered from depression and it prompted him to be on a showbiz hiatus for quite a while.

After several months, her mom, Teresa Loyzaga, opened up about Diego's mental health.
