Actress Angel Locsin gave a strong message to express her support for the healthcare workers amid the COVID-19 crisis.
KAMI learned that the Kapamilya actress also reminded the government that the real enemy of the country is the coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
In an Instagram story, Angel shared encouraging words to the medical frontliners now that the country is still battling against the coronavirus.
“Patawad kung minsan ay pasaway. Ngunit nais iparating, kakampi niyo kami, health workers,” she said.
“Magdo-doble ingat para makagaan sa pasanin kahit paano. ‘wag sanang panghinaan ang inyong loob. Mahal namin kayo. Naka-suporta kami sa inyo,” she added.
In a different Instagram story, Angel reminded the government that the enemy that should be defeated is COVID-19 and not the health workers.
“Nung una, UP ang kalaban. Ngayon naman, health workers,” she said.
“Pagsuporta ang kailangan, hindi pagsindak. COVID po ang kalaban. Hindi ang mamamayan,” she added.
Angel Locsin is a famous actress in the Philippines and is also an activist. Recently, she has been speaking up about the issues in the country.
In a viral video, Angel joined the noise barrage held in front of the ABS-CBN compound to show her support for her home network and its employees.
She also slammed the celebrities who used COVID-19 as an excuse not to speak up on certain issues like the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN.
