Michael V. recently gave a positive update on his health condition after he announced over a couple of weeks ago that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
In the “Chika Minute” segment of GMA News "24 Oras Weekend" on August 1, the comedian also known as Bitoy said he is getting better now and his sense of smell is improving.
So magulo talaga.”
Bitoy also gave pieces of advice to patients who also contracted the virus.
He likewise discussed about donating his blood plasma once he recovered from the disease.
"'Pag completely naka-complete na ako nu'ng 14 days I think the responsible thing to do is just that, mag-donate para makatulong sa ibang mga kababayan natin at makatulong sa siyensiya.
Michael V. is one of the most acclaimed male actors and comedians in the Philippines. In 2013, he won Best Comedy Actor at the prestigious PMPC Star Awards for Television.
Bitoy finally shed light on the circulating sketch and statement of him used by netizens as “campaign materials" backing President Rodrigo Duterte and his daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
He announced in his vlog uploaded on July 20 that he has tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). He also recently assured netizens that he is alive following a death hoax about him circulating online.
