Barbie Imperial is another artist who has now found their voice and would freely express their thoughts on social media.

Her recent comment was the arrest of the 60-year-old woman and charged with theft, for stealing several canned goods, chocolates and body spray from a convenient store in Makati.

"Pag ang mahirap nagnakaw, kulong. Pero yung iba dyan, milyun-milyon ang ninakaw, malaya pa din. Púcha naman. Ano na?"

Because of the manner by which she showed the disparity of treatment between the rich and the poor, a basher tagged her as "bobo" but she made the perfect retort.

"Bobo mo Barbie. Graduate ka lang talaga ng pbb eh. Kung nagugutom yan pagkain kukunin nyan like sardinas and can goods. E chocolate kinuha may body spray pa. Gamit gamit din ng utak girl. tska bayadan ko muna PA mo."

To this, Barbie Imperial made a fiery retort:

"Bayad na tagal na tanong mo pa kay Tulfo. Kwento mo sa 3 followers mo."

Many netizens also posted their comment, giving support to the actress.

The treatment of the poor once again came into question in a recent event. An incident in Quiapo Church caught the attention of social media users. Two police officers took away the protest materials while the mass was ongoing.

Sen. Risa Hontiveros thereafter talked with the MPDD Roland Miranda about the incident, saying that they were not even staging a rally.

The recently held rally at the University of the Philippines campus was attended by groups from different sectors.
