After Billy Crawford's request for blessing from Coleen Garcia's father, are Kapamilya stars Coleen Garcia and Billy Crawford ready to tie the knot and up their relationship goals soon?
Now that Coleen Garcia and Billy Crawford have been officially together for two years, the two are talking about marriage.
Last year, Billy has proclaimed that Coleen will be his last relationship and that he also wants to get married already. The actress on the other hand has many plans to fulfill first before fully committing as Billy’s wife.
Just recently, Coleen’s dad, Jose Garcia, has finally given his blessing for the two to get married even if Billy hasn’t proposed yet. According to him, “Actually hindi na kailangang sabihin, I mean, understood na iyon, e. They look so happy with each other. So, for me, yung blessing, I think it’s been given already.”
(Actually, it doesn’t need to be said, I mean it’s already understood. They look so happy with each other. So for me, the blessing, I think it’s been given already.)
In a separate interview, Billy was asked if they will be married soon now that Coleen’s father has given them the blessing. He answered that he is willing to wait, “Masasabi ko she is the one, I mean, thirty-four years old na ako, I don’t wanna waste time. Nagawa ko na lahat, thirty years na ako sa industriya. Sa buong buhay ko, marami na rin akong pinagdaanan, lahat nagawa ko na. Pero alam ko kasi may natitira pang oras para sa trabaho niya [Coleen], sa passion niya, ano ba talaga ang gusto niya. She’s turning twenty-four, so I’m willing to wait patiently.”
(I can say for sure that she is the one, I mean, I’m already thirty-four years old, I don’t wanna waste time. I’ve done everything; I’ve been in the industry for thirty years. All mu life, I’ve been through a lot; I’ve done everything. But I know that she still has some time left for work, for her passion, for the things that she really want to do. She’s turning twenty-four, so I’m willing to wait patiently.)
Currently, Coleen is starring in ‘Love Me Tomorrow’ with Piolo Pascual and Dawn Zulueta and wants to focus more on acting than hosting.
